Check the chart before you start
Import a PDF from Files, Mail or Safari. Aida finds the chart pages and the key, joins the pages and counts every color. Each count sits next to the number in the key, so a misread symbol shows up early.
- 2
Mark stitches with one tap
Tap a square to mark it. Switch to Paint and drag along a row, move the chart with two fingers. Highlight one color and only that color can be marked. Undo anything.
- 3
See what is left
Stitches left for each color, today's count and your sessions. Park a thread on the square where it waits, and find it again tomorrow.
Your charts stay on your devices.
Charts and progress live on your iPhone or iPad and in your own iCloud. Aida has no account and no server. Nothing else sees your PDFs.
Every marked stitch is saved on the device first. Turn off iCloud in Aida and your progress stays on that device only.
No analytics, no ads, no crash reporting tool. The App Store privacy label says Data Not Collected.
Turn on Airplane Mode and keep stitching.
Read the privacy policyGood to know
- Aida reads text-based PDF charts. A chart that is only a picture, such as a scan or a photo, can't be read yet.
- A PDF locked with a password needs to be unlocked first.
- Importing, checking and viewing charts is free, and so is marking your first chart. Marking more charts needs the yearly plan or lifetime.
- Syncing needs iCloud on each device, signed in with the same Apple Account.
Also in Aida
- iPhone and iPad, light and dark, a high-contrast chart.
- Widgets and a Live Activity for the running session.
- Shortcuts and Siri: start a session, ask how many stitches are left.
- A backup file you can keep in Files.
- Recently deleted keeps a chart for 30 days.
- A progress picture to share, with the chart name hidden if you like.
